Bursary Study Fields
Canyon Coal (Pty) Ltd invites students interested in joining the Mining Industry to apply for their External Bursary Scheme in the following study fields:
- Mining Engineering x1
- Metallurgy/Chemical Engineering x1
- BSc Mine Survey x1
Requirements
- A valid South African identity document (SA Citizen)
- Currently in Matric or have completed Matric
- Provisional acceptance from a university
- Students already at tertiary institutions must have obtained an average of 65% and above in all major subjects
Eligibility Criteria
- Previously disadvantaged individuals from the Host community area
- Financially disadvantaged
- Applicants who have applied to study at their local tertiary institutions
- People with disabilities and females
How to Apply
The following documentation must accompany the application form: proof of residence, certified ID copy, certified copy of matric results, certified copies of tertiary academic records including the most recent results.
