Legal Resources Centre (LRC): Voluntary Internships 2024

Internship Application Closing Date: 11 September 2023

Internship Location: Johannesburg, Gauteng, South Africa

The Legal Resources Centre (LRC) is a law clinic that pursues novel and effective legal solutions by using a range of strategies including impact litigation, law reform, participation in partnerships and development processes within and outside South Africa.  We are a non-profit, public interest law centre, providing legal services to poor and marginalised persons and communities, with emphasis on land and education rights. The LRC aims to train candidate attorneys not only for their future roles as lawyers in traditional legal practices but also as prospective human rights lawyers and advocates – capable of participating in any legal environment, by equipping them with wide ranging skills that exceed the traditional candidate attorney training.

While academic results will get us interested in you, this is not all that we are looking for.
