Purpose Statement:
Capitec Bank is seeking dedicated individuals to join our team as ATM Assistants, also known as Bank Better Champions. In this role, you will play a key part in welcoming clients, managing branch flow, and providing exceptional service at the ATM and other remote or self-service channels. This position offers the opportunity to develop valuable skills and gain experience in service consulting.
Experience:
- Minimum: No prior experience required; a Grade 12 National Certificate is necessary.
- Ideal: Experience in client service within a retail, financial, or banking environment.
Qualifications:
- Minimum: Grade 12 National Certificate / Vocational
- Ideal or Preferred:
- Knowledge of bank branch environments
- Familiarity with Capitec Bank products and business processes (internal)
Knowledge and Skills:
- Minimum Knowledge:
- Basic calculations
- Understanding how to engage with people
- Clarity about personal aspirations and a strong desire to learn
- Ideal Knowledge:
- Knowledge of bank branch environments
- Understanding of Capitec Bank products and processes
- Skills:
- Strong communication skills
- Computer literacy (MS Word, MS Excel, MS Outlook)
- Effective interpersonal and relationship management skills
