Tsebo Facilities Solution is looking for a Maintenance Planner who will be responsible to assist the Building & Planning Managers to plan, manage and deliver the Infrastructure function for the business unit including (but not limited to) building structures, plumbing and piping, painting, maintaining and upgrading of information signage, and water functions according to legislation and standards with the objective of maintaining Infrastructure systems; and offering technical Infrastructure engineering support. managing maintenance using the internal system & its modules to ensure data integrity, user support, planned preventative maintenance & reporting. The successful incumbent will also be required to assist departmental managers with relevant tasks.

Duties & Responsibilities
- Maintained Infrastructure
- Maintain accurate and updated asset details, ensuring assets are added, deleted and details modified as and when necessary.
- Carry out a quarterly audit of the asset register on the system to ensure that all assets have location details, that all scrapped assets are withdrawn accordingly.
- Maintain the user data on the system with respect to user groups and profiles
- Assist with the allocation of Technical work orders.
- Log calls with the Helpdesk for all faults picked up
- Produce a monthly report showing the actual costs of carrying out a scheduled PPM per asset type against the budgeted PPM cost.
- Follow up with the Technical team to ensure work orders are restored timeously
- Assist with the updating of the purchase order reports
- Assist with the updating of the RFQ reports for the site on a weekly basis
- Assist with ensuring that invoices are checked, signed and passed on to the respective Manager to verify that the work was completed
- Administer the modification of work orders to accommodate stock issues or labour capture on the system
- Delivered Infrastructure Preventative Maintenance Plans
- All PPMs must be issued in accordance with operating procedure
- Generate daily, weekly, monthly etc. PPM job cards, issue to maintenance staff and follow up completion by generating consequent work orders when necessary.
- Ensure that inspections are completed as per Planned Preventative Maintenance schedule
- System audit of PPM tasks linked to assets annually.
- Compile an annual list of PPMs audited which is to be forwarded to the respective manager(s).
- Infrastructure Compliance Standards & Governance
- Assist in the development and updating of policies and procedures for around building, plumbing, painting and carpentry.
- Assist in the development, communication and auditing of maintenance and engineering standards and processes for the business unit on a regular basis
- Align practices with new legislative compliance around health, hygiene, safety and the environment
- Implement sufficient control measures (including systems and processes) & checks within each department to mitigate any financial risk to the business.
- Conduct weekly walkabouts of all front of house and back of house areas to monitor compliance
- Drive a waste management culture and ensure all staff are trained.
- Work with internal stakeholders to identify risk areas and address
- Stakeholder Management
- Provide internal stakeholders with updates of Infrastructure, outages and scheduled shutdowns
- Engage and manage the performance of suppliers and contractors
- Engage with management with regards security; health and safety and critical technical breaches or anomalies
Skills and Competencies
- Project coordination

- Strong knowledge and experience in MS Office, IFS & Pragma
- Solid all round Technical Knowledge will be an advantage

Qualifications
- Matric,
- MS Word, Excel, PowerPoint
- Extensive knowledge of Computerised Maintenance planning systems and process with emphasis on planned preventative maintenance
- 2-3 years’ experience in a similar environment
- Apprenticeship in engineering with at least 2 years practical experience
- Preferably registered with the SAFMA / other accredited facilities / engineering bodies
- Minimum of 3 years’ experience in an Infrastructure / facilities management position within maintenance and repairs, covering emergency power backup systems and all electrical and mechanical equipment
- Experience in coordination of projects and managing contractors / suppliers
- Requires specialised theoretical knowledge and processes relating to Infrastructure maintenance practices, processes and regulations
- Medium term planning (12 months) involves conducting the planning of activities to support new business targets and growth
- Organise, plan and prioritise tasks for self and team to ensure that work gets done profitably and efficiently;
- Interact with stakeholders and team – influencing, motivating and encouraging specific behaviour
